At Manorvale, our Curriculum programs are based on the Victorian Curriculum 2.0 F–10 which sets out what every student should learn during their first eleven years of schooling. The curriculum is the common set of knowledge and skills required by students for life-long learning, social development and active and informed citizenship.
The core learning areas of English and Mathematics are taught daily.
In 2024, all students attend Specialist classes in Library, Italian, Physical Education and Visual Arts.
Our Inquiry units address the Victorian Curriculum learning areas of Health, Technologies, Science, History, Geography, Civics and Citizenship and the four Capabilities.
The inquiry units are based on eight rich concepts of Community, Sustainability, Social Justice, Creativity, Identity, Change, Discovery and Connections and are implemented over a two-year cycle.
